For many Hindus pilgrimage to Rameswaram is of great significance. They believe that a pilgrimage to Varanasi is not complete without a pilgrimage to Rameswaram. Rameshwaram is also one of the holiest Char Dhams which include Badrinath in Himalayas, Puri in the East, Dwarka in the West and Rameshwaram in the South.

Madurai is famous for its Meenakshi Temple and temple houses one of the Pancha Sabhai of Natraja (five cosmic dance halls of Shiva).

DAY 1 - Arrive Madurai
- Arrive at Madurai train station / airport.
- Our driver will meet you and transfer to hotel
- On arrival check in to hotel.
- In the afternoon visit Meenakshi Amman Temple also called Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple is one of the five majestic cosmic dance halls (Pancha Sabhai) of Natraja. Silver Hall or Rajata Sabhai is found in this Temple.
- Also visit Koodal Azhagar Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.The temple has idols of nine planet deities– Navagrahas.These are otherwise found only in Shiva temples.
- Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2 - Madurai to Rameshwaram
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast check out and drive to Rameshwaram which is 169 Kms from Madurai and it takes 3.5 hours to reach.
- On arrival check in to hotel.
- In the afternoon visit Ramanathaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines where shive is worshipped in form of Jyotirlinga meaning “pillar of light”.
- Later we visit Gandhamathan Parvatham, a hillock located 3 Kms north of the temple. Here there is a two story hall where Rama’s feet is found as an imprint on a wheel.
- Also visit Kothandaramaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Rama.
- Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 - Rameshwaram to Madurai
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast check out and drive to Madurai which is 169 Kms from Madurai and it takes 3.5 hours to reach.
- On arrival transfer to the airport / train station for your flight / train to onward destination.
