DAY 1 - Arrival Delhi
- On your arrival at Delhi International Airport, our representative will meet & greet you.
- Transfer you to your hotel.
- Rest of the day is free to relax.
- Overnight stay at Delhi
DAY 2 - Delhi - Lucknow – Sravasti
- Early morning transfer to New Delhi Railway station.
- Board your superfast train Shatabdi Express departing for Lucknow at 6.15 AM.
- Breakfast on board the train.
- Arrive Lucknow at 12.35 PM, meet our representative and drive to Sravasti (170 Kms, Hrs).
- Arrive Sravasti in the evening and check-in at Hotel.
- Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 - Sravasti Sightseeing – Lumbini
- After breakfast we take you for sightseeing tour of Sravasti - the capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala.
- Visit Sahet Mahet, Jetvana Vihar, Angulimala's stupa, Anathapindika's stupa and an old temple dedicated to a Jain Tirthankara.
- We also visit various Buddhist monasteries built by Thailand, South Korea, China, Tibet, Srilanka and Myanmar.
- In the afternoon drive to Lumbini (225 Kms, 6Hrs) - birthplace of Lord Buddha located in Nepal.
- On arrival check-in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at Lumbini.
DAY 4 - Lumbini – Kushinagar
- After breakfast visit Mayadevi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Holy Pushkarni Pond and ancient monasteries.
- In the afternoon drive to Kushinagar (160 Kms, 6 Hrs) - A place where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death.
- It is an important buddhist pilgrimage site.
- Arrive Kushinagar in the evening and Check-in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at hotel in Kushinagar
DAY 5 - Kushinagar – Patna
- After breakfast visit Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa - the crimination site of Lord Buddha.
- Later proceed to Patna ( 230 Kms - 6 Hrs).
- Enruote we visit Vaishali.
- Lord Buddha visited Vaishali 5 years after his enlightenment.
- Here we will visit Relic Stupa, Kutagarasala Vihar, Coronation Tank and world peace Pagoda.
- Then we continue our drive to Patna.
- Arrive Patna and check-in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at Patna.
DAY 6 - Patna – Rajgir – Bodhgaya
- After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya.
- En-route we will visit Nalanda.
- Located 88 Kms from Patna, Nalanda was world’s first residential University.
- From Nalanda we drive on to Rajgir.
- Rajgir was the ancient capital of the Magadh Kings. Its known to be one of the favorite places of Buddha and he often visited Rajgir.
- Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa.
- Rajgir is also an important place of pilgrimage for Hindus as the temple complex here is dedicated to the Sun God.
- We continue our drive to Bodhgaya.
- On arrival in Bodhgaya and check-in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at Bodhgaya.
DAY 7 - Bodhgaya
- After breakfast we take you for sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya.
- Bodhgaya is one of the four most important sites related to Lord Buddha's life.
- Lord Buddha meditated under a Bodhi Tree for 3 days and 3 nights after which he attained enlightenment.
- We visit Mahabodhi Temple complex with diamond throne and the holy bodhi tree.
- We also visit many Buddhist monasteries & temples built by various countries around Mahabodhi temple.
- Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
DAY 8 – Bodhgaya – Varanasi
- After breakfast drive to Varanasi.
- Arrive and check-in at Hotel.
- In the evening visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the prayer ceremony of Holy Ganges.
- Overnight stay at Varanasi.
DAY 9 – Varanasi – Delhi
- Early in the morning we take you for a Sunrise boat ride on River Ganges.
- After breakfast visit Sarnath.
- Sarnath is a deer park located 13 Kms from Varanasi. Its here Gautam Buddha first taught Dharma.
- We will visit Dhamek Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Sarnath Archaeological museum.
- In the evening we will drop you at Varanasi Airport for your flight back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to the Hotel.
- Stay overnight at Delhi.
DAY 10 – Delhi City Tour - Evening departure
- After breakfast we take you for city tour of Delhi.
- Visit Qutub Minar, India Gate, Humayuns Tomb, Jama Masjid, The President's House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Laxmi Narayan temple and Lotus temple.
- In the evening transfer to Delhi international airport for your flight to onward destination
